WinStar World Casino and Resort inaugurates Lightning Link Lounge
In Oklahoma, the WinStar World Casino and Resort has opened the Lightning Link Lounge inside its London Gaming Plaza offering over 150 linked progressive jackpot games from developer Aristocrat Technologies Incorporated in almost 4,000 sq ft of space.
Powered by Casino 360°, the new Lightning Link Lounge is the first venue of its kind in Oklahoma and features some 151 Lightning Link terminals offering free games alongside hold and spin bonuses. A single bonus spin could see players awarded with multiple progressive jackpots as well as special offers.
Located just south of the small town of Thackerville less than three miles from Oklahoma’s border with Texas, the WinStar World Casino and Resort is operated by the federally-recognized Chickasaw Nation and features over 600,000 sq ft of gaming space via eight city-themed plazas. The Love County venue has some 7,400 slots alongside nearly 100 gaming tables while additionally offering off-track betting, bingo, keno and high stakes poker.
The WinStar World Casino and Resort stated that its new Lightning Link Lounge is a result of a partnership with gaming-focused financial services firm Gaming Capital Group and is set to complement the 50 Lightning Link units that were already present on its main gaming floor.
“Since its opening, Casino 360° had grown to be a popular area in the casino with its vibrant lighting and immersive experience,” read a statement from Jenny Cross, Assistant General Manager for the WinStar World Casino and Resort. “We wanted to continue the momentum of this particular gaming area. The opportunity to reinvent the space into the Lightning Link Lounge powered by Casino 360° was a way for us to continue our partnership with Gaming Capital Group and enabled us to continue creating that unique patron experience for which we are known.”
Melissa Cox, Marketing and Customer Relations Vice-President for Oklahoma City-based Gaming Capital Group, declared that the new Lightning Link Lounge is a “natural fit for the state’s largest gaming facility” due to the past performance of Lightning Link games at the WinStar World Casino and Resort and “in other markets”.
“Our partnerships with both WinStar [World Casino and Resort] and Aristocrat [Technologies Incorporated] are very important to our operation,” read a statement from Cox. “At Gaming Capital Group, it is our mission to place the best product for our customers and we are very fortunate to have a product like Lightning Link to offer. We are confident that the Lightning Link Lounge will perform well and our team is very excited to see more themes like Lightning Link from Aristocrat [Technologies Incorporated].”
